I am currently holding an honorary position of “Director Education” at Global Risk Management Institute Gurgaon (GRMI). I am a member of the Board of Directors and Academic Council of the same Institute (Risk Educators P Ltd). I am also an Independent Non-Executive Director is a couple of public companies. In addition, I am advising publicly listed companies in controllership, internal controls and risk management. Finally, I am also on the Board of a few starts ups. Until recently (November 2016) he was the Financial Controller at PepsiCo India.
I am a Finance professional having over 30 years of post-qualification global experience with more than 23 years in PepsiCo (Foods & Beverages industry) with prior exposure to Automobiles & Fertilizers. At PepsiCo, I have implemented measures leading to top line growth and bottom line improvement across businesses in Asia. I am deft at partnering with businesses and aligning business objectives to meet desired growth objectives. I have proven competence in M & A process management and business integration. I also have expertise in control mechanisms leading to process improvement and productivity enhancement. I have led significant change management initiatives in PepsiCo across the Asia Sector, such as supporting the creation of the MENA Dairy JV, leading the Control Operating Model design, the COSO Portal design, leading change in product portfolio at Frito-Lay India as the CFO, Implementing the Franchise model in Foods at Bangladesh and many more. I have been recognized by way of many awards at PepsiCo for excellence in Strategic, Control and People Leadership.
I am an active member of the Association of Independent Directors of India (http://aidindia.co.in), Society for Human Resources Management USA, Global Association of Risk Professionals USA and The Institute of Internal Auditors USA.
I graduated from Nizam College, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India with a Bachelor of Commerce and am a Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
